WellRyde vs DispatchBot

WellRyde is a live, active product: dispatch, real-time GPS tracking, and electronic signature capture built to verify ModivCare trips happened. It's narrow by design, scoped to what ModivCare needs from its credentialed providers.

DispatchBot's original feature set was also narrow: trip and driver management, dispatch, scheduling, and basic billing and invoicing, built around a visual scheduling board designed by working dispatchers. That board carried over into TripMaster after the 2021 merger, but the standalone DispatchBot product itself no longer exists to compare feature-for-feature against WellRyde today.

WellRyde has no independent price, since it comes free or at reduced cost through a ModivCare provider agreement rather than a standalone sale.

DispatchBot has no current price either, for a different reason: it isn't sold anymore. Former DispatchBot customers now run on TripMaster, priced by custom quote through CTS Software based on fleet size and functionality, from single-vehicle operators up through roughly 500 vehicles.

WellRyde connects only into ModivCare's own trip assignment network and doesn't publicly document connections to other brokers or accounting systems.

Whatever integration depth existed under standalone DispatchBot has been absorbed into TripMaster, which today carries Premier Partner status with ModivCare plus connections to MTM, Access2Care, state Medicaid EDI billing, and add-ons like TripView in-vehicle cameras and TripPass fare ticketing. None of that broader integration set was available under the original DispatchBot on its own.

WellRyde runs as a cloud-based web dispatch portal with the WellRyde Driver app for iOS and Android. DispatchBot's deployment now lives entirely inside TripMaster's cloud platform, with iOS and Android driver apps carrying the DispatchBot name in name only, since the underlying product is TripMaster's broader system.

WellRyde onboarding runs through ModivCare's provider relations team as part of credentialing, with operators reporting a real learning curve and some friction on location and no-show accuracy.

There is no DispatchBot onboarding path anymore. Anyone researching it today would go through TripMaster's support and sales structure via CTS Software, which has operated transportation software since 1986 and built its post-merger scheduling board to echo DispatchBot's familiar layout for migrated customers.

Neither of these is really a standalone buying decision. WellRyde exists because of a ModivCare provider relationship, not a shopping process. DispatchBot doesn't exist at all anymore as something you can sign up for; it's been TripMaster since July 2021.
