WellRyde does one job well: dispatch, real-time GPS tracking, and electronic signature capture that proves a ModivCare trip happened. It has no billing module for private-pay work, no broker EDI beyond ModivCare's own network, and no scheduling engine built for a fleet managing several payers at once.

Momentm splits its offering into two products built for that broader job. NovusMED automates trip planning with rider, provider, and payer matching rules, tracks driver and vehicle credentials, and handles billing, reimbursement, and compliance reporting for brokers, MCOs, and PACE programs. Simpli, the newer product, strips that down to trip scheduling, dispatch, a driver app, trip import, and standard reporting, aimed at fleets from five to fifteen vehicles that don't need NovusMED's enterprise scope.

WellRyde has no independent price to compare, since it typically comes free or at reduced cost through a ModivCare provider agreement rather than a standalone purchase. There's nothing to run cost math against here.

Momentm's Simpli publishes real numbers: $49 per vehicle a month billed annually, or $52 per vehicle a month month-to-month, with no setup fee and a 30-day trial. NovusMED, by contrast, is quoted based on trip volume and contract scope for enterprise buyers, so it follows the same custom-quote pattern most brokers and MCOs deal with.

WellRyde's integration is narrow by design: it connects directly into ModivCare's trip assignment network and does not publicly document EDI connections to other brokers or third-party accounting tools.

NovusMED supports a Novus-to-Novus API letting brokers assign trips directly to providers running the same platform, plus documented integrations with CTS TripMaster, Ecolane, Uber Health, and Lyft Assist. Simpli's broker integration depth is less publicly documented, worth confirming directly if broker connections outside ModivCare are a deciding factor for your fleet.

WellRyde runs as a web dispatch portal with the WellRyde Driver app for iOS and Android, focused purely on ModivCare trip execution. Momentm's Simpli runs as a cloud platform with its own driver app, while NovusMED adds call-center and clinic/facility booking modules on top, a much broader deployment footprint built for organizations coordinating trips across multiple payers and programs.

WellRyde onboarding happens through ModivCare's provider relations team as part of getting credentialed, not a typical software sales process, and operators report a real learning curve along with occasional friction on location and no-show accuracy tracking.

Simpli markets an easy, self-guided onboarding process with training built into the application. NovusMED follows a more traditional enterprise implementation path with a scoped onboarding project, and reviews of the legacy TripSpark NEMT product describe support as responsive but the interface as dense until a team learns its shortcuts.

This isn't really WellRyde versus Momentm, it's WellRyde plus whichever Momentm product fits your scale. WellRyde covers what ModivCare requires for trip verification on its own trips. If you need a real dispatch and billing system for everything outside that relationship, Simpli fits a small or emerging fleet's per-vehicle budget, while NovusMED fits a broker, MCO, or PACE program running complex, multi-payer operations. Neither Momentm product replaces WellRyde for ModivCare-specific verification, and WellRyde doesn't replace either Momentm product for general dispatch.
