Momentm vs DispatchBot

DispatchBot's original product was a simple, visual scheduling board built by working dispatchers, covering trip and driver management, dispatch, and basic billing. That standalone tool stopped being sold in 2021, when CTS Software folded it into TripMaster. TripMaster carried the same board design forward but wraps it in a much larger system: automated scheduling, computer-assisted dispatching, automated vehicle location, electronic billing, statistical reporting, fleet maintenance, plus add-on modules for interactive voice response and in-vehicle cameras.

Momentm runs two distinct products instead of one. NovusMED automates trip planning with rules matching riders, providers, and payers, and covers billing, reimbursement, and compliance reporting for brokers, MCOs, and PACE programs. Simpli is the lighter option: trip scheduling, dispatch, a driver mobile app, trip import, and standard reporting, aimed at small and emerging fleets that don't need NovusMED's enterprise scope.

TripMaster's starting price is reported near $100 a month, but it adds a separate setup and customization fee that scales with fleet size and feature requests, standard for a platform with roots in public agency contracts. DispatchBot itself has no current pricing, since it isn't sold anymore. Momentm's Simpli publishes real numbers: $49 per vehicle a month billed annually, or $52 month-to-month, with no setup fee. NovusMED, like TripMaster, requires a custom quote scoped to trip volume and modules.

Through TripMaster, the combined DispatchBot product now carries Premier and Preferred Partner status with ModivCare, plus connections to Alivi and OneCall, and billing that connects to Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurers directly. None of that broker depth existed under the original standalone DispatchBot. Momentm's NovusMED supports a Novus-to-Novus API for broker-to-provider trip assignment, plus documented integrations with CTS TripMaster itself, Ecolane, Uber Health, and Lyft Assist; Simpli's broker integration depth is less publicly documented.

TripMaster runs as cloud-based dispatch software with the ParaScope driver app for iOS and Android, the TripPortal rider web app, and support for in-vehicle mobile data terminals, a heavier footprint than DispatchBot's original standalone board. Momentm's Simpli is a cloud platform with a driver app built for a lighter, small-fleet workflow, while NovusMED adds call-center and clinic/facility booking modules for larger operations.

CTS Software markets TripMaster's training and support as a differentiator, and reviewers generally back that up, describing support as fast to respond even when the underlying software occasionally has bugs or downtime. A fleet coming from DispatchBot's simpler board should still expect real training time to get comfortable with TripMaster's fuller toolset. Simpli markets an easy, self-guided onboarding process with no separate onboarding fee, while NovusMED follows a more traditional, scoped implementation project typical of enterprise software.

There's no honest way to compare Momentm against DispatchBot as a live product, because DispatchBot stopped being sold in 2021. The real decision is Momentm versus TripMaster. A small or emerging fleet that wants transparent, flat per-vehicle pricing and a fast setup fits Simpli. A paratransit agency, PACE program, or NEMT fleet that wants decades of ModivCare partnership history, and doesn't mind a setup fee on top of the base rate, fits TripMaster. A large broker or provider managing complex, multi-payer transportation programs should be comparing NovusMED against TripMaster instead, not against a product that no longer exists.
